I had a bout of AF/Atachycardia at 11 weeks that went away 2 hours after a loading dose of Rythmol. I have taken the drug for 2 1/2 months and have been off it for 3 weeks now. Since going off, I have exercised very regularly, and it is really started to feel good. My sternum still clicks slightly, but the docs say this can happen, don't worry, resume ALL activities, and it will gradually stop clicking. Swimming is fine, but I'm taking it easy in some activities like whitewater kayaking for a while. I'm 47 now, feeling 35.
