I would like to thank the many people who have shared their stories regarding af and overall heart rythm irregularitieson this site. I have had an abnormal heart rythm since I was 13, and I will be 44 this July. My valve was at 3,with 25% reduction in blood flow and af was very constant. If I would not have been able to research this procedure through this message board I would not be as positive as I am today. I have had several flutters but nothing in the last 2 weeks. I am driving now and will be celebrating my 22nd year anniversary tonight. Once again thank-you and my prayers to all who are contiplating this surgery.
